Faculty

Our Maryland faculty was composed of nine teachers in the following subject areas:

Our new school in Seguin has just 5 faculty members-- still a 1:3 student teacher ratio! As our student body grows, so will our faculty. Most of our teachers are capable of teaching more than one subject area on various grade levels. All faculty are responsible for curriculum planning, course development, instruction and evaluation of students.

One of the benefits of being a church school is that we are not limited by state-imposed regulations regarding the credentials of our faculty. The fact that we are not required to hire “certified teachers” enables us to tap into the vast community of highly skilled and educated professionals with advanced degrees and accomplishments, many of whom are parents of our students. In addition we recruit educators who are retired, seeking to engage in volunteer service between undergraduate and graduate school, or on sabbatical.
