School Fees & Funding

Genesis Christian Academy does not charge tuition. Families of students make specific pledges of goods, services and monetary contributions, based on resources, talents, skills, and income, at the time of their children’s enrollment. Money will never be a barrier to a child’s enrollment (Romans 12:1-2).

Based on operational expenses only, the cost of educating one child is slightly under $12,000--an average of $18,000 less per year than it costs to incarcerate an adult.

We are a church-exempt school, owned and operated by Genesis Christian Church. As a church affiliated school, we are ineligible for state funding, and exempt from many of the accreditation regulations that govern public schools.

Genesis Christian Academy accepts foundation funding, as well as private donations—in-kind, monetary and service. We are a ministry of Genesis Christian Church. Both our school and church are IRS approved 501(c)(3) private non-profit organizations. Several small school run businesses help to generate revenues . This includes sales of school produced musical CDs, crafts and pottery, and organic produce grown on our school ranch. Our school has an active raw goat and cow milk dairy. We anticipate receiving certification soon from the state of Texas to sell our raw milk here at Everything Jesus Ranch.

Genesis students get around…every child of God is a citizen of the world, and our school
believes in exposing our students to travel throughout the US and abroad as early as possible.
